ELECTRIC SNOWMOBILE SAFARIS IN POROVAARA HILL PRIVATE RESORT IN ROVANIEMI
UNIQUE ELECTRIC SNOWMOBILE EXPERIENCES
Porovaara Hill offers unforgettable electric snowmobile safaris at our private resort located about 20 km from the Rovaniemi city centre. We have two lengths of safari: the 2,5 hour experience and the longer 3,5 hour safari.
COMBINE AURORA HUNTING WITH ELECTRIC SNOWMOBILES
Our private Porovaara Hill resort offers the unique opportunity to combine an ecological electric snowmobiling experience with the hunting of the magnificent Northern Lights. In addition you will have the opportunity to meet our reindeer and feed them.
SPEND A NIGHT IN NATURE OF LAPLAND LIKE A REINDEER HERDER
Welcome to an unforgettable adventure in the unique nature of Lapland. We offer the opportunity to experience in Rovaniemi authentic Lapland when you sleep in a wooden laavu – a traditional Lapland hut – under the starry sky, the Northern Lights and in the midst of reindeer.
PRIVATE POROVAARA HILL 20 MIN FROM ROVANIEMI’S CENTRE
Porovaara Hill (in English “Reindeer Hill”) is our private nature area of almost 100 hectares about 20 km south of the Rovaniemi city center. Immediately to the east of Porovaara Hill, there is a state-owned wilderness area of dozens of square kilometres. Porovaara Hill offers a unique environment for electric snowmobile safaris in Lapland.
WHY ELECTRONIC SNOWMOBILES?
Our ecological safaris are done with Aurora Powertrains’ eSled electric snowmobiles. They offer a unique driving experience in Lapland’s nature with less noise, less pollution and no odours or fumes from gasoline. Our snowmobiles use only low CO2 emission green electricity made from wind and hydropower. Welcome to a new era of snowmobile driving!
EXPERIENCE REINDEER SAFARIS
Our family company also offers, through Santa Claus Reindeer, unforgettable reindeer safari experiences on Porovaara Hill.
